Distance learning contributed to the global body transformations she has helped others achieve worldwide

Fitness has always been a major component of Michelle Johnson's life. After gaining weight in her teens, she was desperate to find solutions and fitness became a way she managed a diagnosis of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. ISSA gave her tools and an depth view of nutrition and fitness.

Michelle Johnson is an ISSA Sports Nutritionist and Fitness Trainer. In 2011, she became an IFBB Pro, competition coach for team-knockouts.com. She is a well rounded and seasoned fitness authority. She is a published writer and contributes regular for news stations, Beautyfit.com and national fitness magazines. As a sponsored athlete she is a spokesmodel for BeautyFit.com. She has developed and integrated her personal Accelerator Program into large health club organizations. In 2005 she took on a role as a director and implemented her Accelerator Program into eleven weight management centers for a health club headquartered in Baltimore. She has taken on several roles as an executive in several other fitness organizations nation-wide. Michelle has worked for Golds Gym International, Anytime Fitness, Sport & Health, Fitness First, Merritt Athletic Clubs, Equinox and Lifetime Fitness. She has been a speaker for IHRSA, Club Industry and Suburban Hospital.

Her heart is in service and has served on the board and on panels for several charities involving children and domestic violence. As a child, she did several national commercials giving her the experience she needed to be a late night entertainment hostess for four years and a featured fitness expert for online videos. She holds multiple certifications and has over 800 cumulative hours in yoga training. Michelle is a wife and mother of two adult children and resides in the Washington, DC area.

"ISSA provided me with the necessary expertise, ongoing development, and opportunities to succeed. I love motivating people and helping them discover their passion through fitness so they can find their true selves! All great transformations begin by getting to know yourself better. Fitness is the doorway that leads to your dreams. I am living mine!"
