Gaston Gnoumou
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
Distance education helped him earn a Bachelor's degree in Theology
Col. Gaston Kani Gnoumou graduated with a Seconde Licence de Théologie from Global University in 2015. Col. Gnoumou was forced to retire from Burkina Faso armed forces when revolution set in his country. In the course of events, he gave his life to Jesus and for more than fifteen years was a leader at both the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International and the Association of Military Christian Fellowships. At the same time, he progressively developed a strong interest in evangelism and saw in distance learning an opportunity to get better equipped for it.
He therefore applied to the Bachelor Degree program in Theology at Global University. Gaston earned his Bachelor degree with a 3.53 GPA and is now in the process of starting a Master of Divinity program.
He has continued to work in evangelism and is currently writing a book on the foundation of Christian commitment which is soon to be published. Gaston is also looking to launch a radio and TV program in his country focusing on evangelism.
"The instructions in Global University's study guides, coupled with great study material, were very helpful, clear, and concise. This program ultimately brought me closer to the Lord Jesus Christ."
