Distance education helped this ambitious student begin a career in healthcare
As a military spouse, Carly Kratochvil wanted to further her education and find a long term career. She decided to enroll at Lakewood College in the Administrative Medical Assistant program.
Carly graduated with a 3.7 grade point average. Carly initiated class discussions with her peers and instructor, and was detail oriented, focused, and professional in all her communications. While attending Lakewood College, she began working at the Ogden Clinic's float pool, where she traveled from clinic to clinic filling in where needed.
Upon graduation Carly was able to secure a full time position as an Administrative Medical Assistant at the Ogden Clinic in the Ear, Nose & Throat Department. Carly also shares her skills as a volunteer in the community and with her employer when time permits.
