Distance education expanded her knowledge to effectively support clients' nutrition and wellness

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Brigham Young University-Idaho. After several years of studying and experimenting in the field of nutrition as a hobby, Stephanie was inspired to further her knowledge by pursuing higher education.

Living in a small town in New Mexico for her husband's Air Force assignment and raising three young children made traditional academic classroom environments impossible. Stephanie soon found ACHS and was impressed with their accredited standing, their online learning format, and their excellent staff. She chose to enroll in the MS in Holistic Nutrition program.

After completing her MS in Holistic Nutrition and Graduate Certificate in Holistic Nutrition with honors at ACHS, Stephanie opened a private nutrition counseling practice called Eat Happy Nutrition, mainly serving clients online. Stephanie is also certified as an Eating Psychology coach through the Institute for the Psychology of Eating and as a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Council on Strength & Fitness. Stephanie is passionate about taking the guilt and stress out of nutrition and health for her clients. Rather than seeing good nutrition as a set of boring and restrictive rules to follow, she loves to inspire excitement and happiness around learning to eat well.

"Getting a fantastic education online helped me realize that I could also provide quality coaching services to clients online. The ability to serve people outside my immediate geographical area opened up a whole world of possibility for using my education to help others."
