My skill set has greatly improved

Matt Willman, a Cost Chief for the Agile Combat Support Directorate at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, enrolled in American Graduate University's Master of Project Management program in 2012. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA in the spring of 2017.

As a government civilian, Matthew has worked nearly eight years for the Air Force as a budget analyst and cost analyst. He also worked eleven years as a finance manager for a Fortune 500 company prior to the Air Force. Matthew wanted a degree in project management to diversify his education, to be competitive for promotion opportunities, and to learn new job skills. He chose AGU because it provided a wealth of information necessary to perform his job as a government finance manager. The online curriculum and self-paced approach were also deciding factors. A major benefit is AGU structures the classes to benefit federal employees.

The courses can be linked to many of his everyday work activities. Matthew's skill set as a manager and cost analyst have greatly improved with the completion of his coursework. With the completion of the Master of Project Management, Matthew was able to obtain a promotion with the Air Force.
