Lakewood College afforded him
the opportunity to advance his career
Vincent L. Cohran chose to attend Lakewood College to study the Paralegal Diploma Program. He was working for the US Army Human Resources department providing administrative support to the Army.
Vincent graduated with 4.0 and was later offered a raise and bonus in recognition of his credential achievement. His new knowledge assisted him in acquiring new tasks and roles within his organization. He is now a reference to his colleagues.
Since graduation, Vincent has prepared documentation for his organization, the Fort Benning, Directorate of Human Resources to be presented to the Army Judge Advocate Generals Office for review, and has become Vice President of a nonprofit.
"My Paralegal certification has afforded me the opportunity to prepare and submit legal documentation for the PathWaves 501c3, and the application for grants for our student athletes."
