Distance education allowed him to continue his goals of personal and professional development
Kirk Bradham has worked with U.S. government technical assistance and capacity building programs for the last 16 years, having served in Eastern Europe and Asia. The Master of Leadership and Management program at American Graduate University gave him the ability to access educational resources remotely to continue his education.
Kirk currently works for Raytheon as a Manager II for Technical Training under a Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation Prevention Program focused on capacity building activities for the Philippines within a maritime environment. Kirk graduated with a 4.0 GPA and the knowledge he obtained in this program has been applicable to his work efforts on a daily basis.
While completing this degree program, Kirk had to balance working a full-time job for the U.S. government, which has its own set of demands, as well as being a full-time husband and father of two young children. Kirk is proud to serve as a role model to his children by demonstrating that during academic pursuits a person can achieve excellence no matter how busy life makes you. The time requirements involved for each role in Kirk's professional and personal life made pursuing the degree a challenging yet rewarding endeavor.
"What I liked most about AGU was the challenging and well thought out curriculum for my chosen degree path at a reasonable cost."
