Dear DEAC Colleagues, Friends, and Visitors to our Conference website:
We look forward to getting back together at the 2022 Annual Conference. The pandemic of COVID-19 has brought changes in all facets of our lives and work that are bound to continue for years to come. Our goal is to bring everyone together in a safe, positive, and healthy environment to dialog with each other, share institutional strategies, and give effective voice to matters of legislation and policy.
To that end, all individuals attending the Annual Conference are required to provide proof that they are "up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations" in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The definition of what it means to be "up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations" will vary by individual. As such, attendees should consult the CDC guidance to determine their individual requirements.
Prior to the meeting, attendees will need to complete the proof of vaccination process using CrowdPass, DEAC's third party provider. Registered attendees will receive the link to upload proof of vaccination to CrowdPass leading up to the Conference date. Attendees who do not complete the proof of vaccination process will not be able to attend the conference.
As the event approaches, we will continue to monitor the trends nationally and in Indiana. Your safe return to your family, community, and workplace is essential. We are working closely with the staff at The Alexander to implement and enforce every available health and safety measure possible at the 2022 Annual Conference. As you consider attending the Annual Conference, please also take a moment to familiarize yourself with current state and local advisories, as well as what to expect at the hotel.
Please contact Rob Chalifoux, DEAC's Director of Media and Events, with any questions about the 2022 Annual Conference.
