Kate Sudarsan

Kate Holmquest Sudarsan joined DEAC as Manager of Organizational Learning in 2025. Having served previously as Chief Operating Officer and compliance officer of a DEAC-accredited institution and an Educational Standards Evaluator for DEAC, Ms. Sudarsan now manages DEAC’s comprehensive educational program to enhance institutions’ capability for accreditation compliance, as well as training for DEAC’s peer evaluator corps, staff, and commission. She also conducts accreditation site visits and application review for initial and renewal accreditation and non-curricular substantive changes. Ms. Sudarsan earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education from Augustana University (SD), where she also served as Director of Church Relations, and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. She holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management International.
